(Ottawa Hills, OH) The Ottawa Hills village council is expected to vote tonight on the possible reconstruction of Secor Road between the University of Toledo campus and Central Avenue.

Opponents plan to make their voices heard one last time-- against the project because it means tearing down a dozen homes and a loss of $55,000 in taxes to the school district. Ottawa Hills and Toledo have teamed up on a proposal to widen the road to stem a traffic logjam created by narrow lanes.

That meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church.
