CLEVELAND, Ohio (WSPD) -- U.S. and Canadian Coast Guard crews continue to search for two people in Lake Erie. The bodies of two of the four victims were recovered Thursday. The first was found in the morning shortly after a boat was found abandoned near Locust Point. The second was recovered around 1:30 p.m.

The Coast Guard is not releasing the names of the missing people or the recovered individual at the request of the families.

The group had gone on a fishing trip Wednesday morning and was due to return by evening, but never showed up at the dock.

Around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, their boat was found partially submerged. Their truck and boat trailer were found at Locust Point boat ramp.

Several search crews from the Coast Guard and local and state law enforcement are searching the lake and shoreline.
