(NEWSER) – Boston hasn't clinched a World Series at home in nearly a century, and that's translating into a big payday for those willing to sell tickets to tonight's Game Six. Consider that someone paid $24,000 on StubHub for two front-row tickets near home plate, reports ESPN. But even the cheap seats aren't so cheap, with the average ticket price now north of $2,000 and climbing. One thing that helps is old-fashioned supply and demand, notes theChristian Science Monitor: Fenway holds a relatively small capacity of about 37,000.
