Ridin’ Late in County 48

Toledo Memorial Park and Yark Nissan Named as Presenting Sponsors of Ridin’ Late in County 48

On Saturday, August 26, 2017 Toledo Memorial Park and Yark Nissan will present Ridin’ Late in County 48, a 13-mile family friendly slow bicycle ride under the stars of Northwest Ohio’s beautiful night sky.  This second annual event will take place at 9 PM and riders will be provided a fully supported ride route with police escort that passes through Toledo Memorial Park, Harroun Park, scenic Sylvania neighborhoods and Pacesetter Park.  A shorter 3 mile loop will also be available. Brightz-ltd will be providing their revolutionary new bike lights to the first 300 riders to create a colorful spectacle along the route.

The 13 mile and the 3 mile ride will begin at Spoke Life Cycles (6363 Monroe St.)  Parking will be available at Root Inc (5470 Main St.) or St. Joe’s parking lot (5373 Main St.)  Since this is a twilight ride, all riders will be required to have both a headlight and tail light on their bicycles.  Lights are available for purchase on the registration page or at Spoke Life on the day of the ride. The after party will be at the River Center Foundation, 5445 Main Street, across from the designated parking areas. The early registration cost for each rider is $15 or $20 after August 1.  All profits will benefit Safe Kids Greater Toledo.
