Ohio Has 5 Cities in Top 40 Worst Allergy Cities

(Toledo, OH) The Buckeye state doesn't look good for allergy sufferers this spring. 

Ohio is one of the worst in the country when it comes to all that spring-time sneezy, sniffly, and itchy stuff. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, five Ohio cities make the top 40 when it comes to worst areas in the country for allergy sufferers. 

Toledo ranks 14th in the country on a scorecard that includes pollen, medication use and the number of board-certified allergists per patient. 

Dayton made the top 10, coming in at number seven. Youngstown wasn't far behind at number 18. Columbus ranked 28th, Akron came in at number 32, and Cleveland 39th. Detroit came in as the 42nd worst allergy city.
