Sylvania Twp. to See $40 Million Housing Complex

(Sylvania Twp., OH) Construction is set to start this fall on a $40 million housing subdivision in Sylvania Township.

The developer is promising a 53-acre subdivision next to Pacesetter Park with a pedestrian path connecting homeowners to a hiking and biking trail through the Olander Park system.

Quarry Ridge will be made up of 50 villa-style residences on 14 acres and 114 single-family homes on the remaining 38 acres. The development near Mitchaw and Brint Roads with vacant land to the east to add more new homes if needed in the future.

A recent zoning change was approved by both the Lucas County plan commission and Sylvania Township trustees, allowing construction to move forward. Realtors say there's big demand right now for new housing.
