(Bowling Green, OH) Bowling Green will celebrate its status as a Best Hometown later today.
Ohio Magazine has named BG one of its Best Hometown designations for the second time in the last decade, so the convention and visitors bureau is throwing a part of sorts this evening.
The Wood County seat's different attractions, parks, events, retail, restaurants and nonprofits will be featured with table displays, samples, giveaways, and coupons at the Simpson Building and Gardens from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Ohio Magazine cited B-G's historic downtown, vibrant college town atmosphere, and strong sense of community as reasons for being one of the Buckeye State's best hometowns.
