13-15 September – (Toledo, OH) Momentum Festival – Downtown Toledo will play host to a free family festival this weekend.  Momentum opens today in Promenade Park, featuring public art installations and live music through Saturday.  There is also an exhibition of hot-glass creations to help celebrate the 200th anniversary of Libbey Glass.  More information about the festival is online at momentumtoledo.org.

15 September – (Oregon, OH) Special Olympics Ohio State Softball Tournament – The SOOH's tournament and invidiual skills competition will take place on Saturday at the William Coontz Recreation Complex. The day will begin with the Parade of Athletes and Opening Ceremonies at 8:45. The event will have Eighteen teams competing in semi-final and championship softball games in both traditional and Unified divisions. Unified Sports join people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team, based on similar ability. For more info on the tournament visit sooh.org.

15 September – (Perrysburg, OH) Harrison Rally Day – The long standing tradition is billed as a day of fun for the Perrysburg community. This year’s event will be held Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The event on Louisiana Avenue downtown features the GoNoodle booth, Mobile Stroke Van tours, giveaways, bounce house, petting farm, arts and crafts booths and the Perrysburg Moving and Hauling Festival Parade that begins at 10am.

15 September – (Great Lakes regions) International Coastal Clean-Up Day – Volunteers are needed for a regional beach cleanup effort this weekend.  The International Coastal Clean-up will happen tomorrow at several Great Lakes beaches.  Groups will collect beach litter and weigh it as part of the global effort.  More details can be found online at greatlakes.org.

15 September – (Maumee, OH) Uptown Saturday – Every Saturday in September we’re revving up the food trucks and heading to Uptown Saturday! Each Saturday will feature live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities. Uptown Saturdays will take place from 5:00-8:00 p.m. every Saturday in September. The event will take place in the East Mews parking lot near the corner of East Wayne and Conant streets. Parking is free on all city streets and in all other city mews parking lots. Free parking is also available at the city’s administration building parking lot. For the Uptown Saturdays event, the East Mews parking lot will close at 4:00 p.m. to accommodate the food trucks.

15 September – (Toledo, OH) Grito Fest – El Corazon de Mexico will host the Grito festival at Latins United on Saturday. The event which takes place between 4 and 11pm features dancing, bands and food and drinks. The grito (Mexican Yell) is traditionally called on September 15th in declaration of Mexico’s Independence from Spain. Mexico’s Independence Day is September 16th. El Corazon de Mexico, is a youth based “not-for-profit” dance group that continues the traditions of Mexico in the style of Folkloric dance.

16 September – (Whitehouse, OH) Whitehouse American Legion Breakfast – Monthly breakfast at the Whitehouse American Legion, 6910 Providence Street.

16 September – (Toledo, OH) RickMobile Pop-Up Shop – Fans of one Adult Swim show will have an opportunity to "Get Schwifty" this weekend. The Rickmobile will be stopping at Multiverse Comics & Beyond on W Sylvania Avenue this Sunday. Fans of the Adult Swim show Rick and Morty will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive, custom-designed collectibles from the pop-up shop. The shop will be open between 2 and 5pm but fans are urged to arrive early to guarantee a purchase. You can get more information at rickmobile.com

16 September – (Perrysburg, OH) Buskers on the Boulevard – Come out to Levis Commons and enjoy the music, magic, and merriment of Buskers On The Boulevard. Various performing artists will be street performing. Sing, dance, and be amazed at the talent of these acts. Show your support with a few bucks in the tip jar. Event runs from 4:00pm-6:00pm/
