The coach for the Lake George Jr./Sr. High School boys soccer team is under fire after taking the team out to dinner at Hooters following a 3-0 loss. It was the first loss of the season for the team and head coach Blake White didn't want his players to dwell on losing in the sectional championship game, so he decided to celebrate their otherwise successful season by going to Hooters.

His decision did not sit well with school officials. When they learned about the dinner, they held a meeting with the entire team and told them going to eat at Hooters, which is known for having scantily-dressed waitresses, "was not in line with our athletic program and school community values."

“As a female superintendent, I took this very seriously and addressed it immediately with the students and the individual," Lynne Rutnik, superintendent of the Lake George Central School District said.

Tricia Biles, president of the school board, said that "corrective action is being taken" against White. She did not elaborate on what the school is doing to punish White, or if any of the players were disciplined.
