The Rise of Custard Shaq

The Michigan Wolverines have had a roller coaster of a season. They started out the season outside the top 25, won the Battle for Atlantis, shot up to #4, and then slid right back out after a crucial injury to Isaiah Livers.

Personally, I followed the team closely last year, and I always thought the team relied on the play of big man, Jon Teske. That's no disrespect to Livers or Zavier Simpson, but Teske at times is an unstoppable 7,1 behemoth in the paint. He had memorable match-ups against guys like Ethan Happ. However, this season has been up and down for Michigan's center. Luckily for them, an unlikely hero has emerged, and they call him Custard Shaq.
