DeWine Lifts Stay At Home Order As All 50 States Are Partially Open

Governor Mike DeWine today lifted the remaining remnants of his stay-at-home orders for the state, allowing Ohioans to travel without restriction as the Ohio continues to recover from the pandemic crisis. According to DeWine “We are now moving from orders to strong recommendations. This is a new phase in our battle against the virus,”

While business is reopening there are still guidelines in place including employees wearing face masks,, frequent cleaning and workers and customers practicing six-foot social distancing. Businesses and individuals still face a restriction on mass gatherings but DeWine is considering increasing the number from 10 people. DeWine made it clear that a reduction in the virus infection rate from one person infecting two others to a one-on-one ratio permits Ohioans to be freed from prior travel restrictions.

According to CNN-By Wednesday, every US state will have begun lifting measures enacted weeks ago to curb the spread ofcoronavirus-- though daily case rates still are rising in parts of the country.

The last state to lift some restrictions will be Connecticut, which is set Wednesday to allow outdoor dining spaces, offices, retail stores and malls, museums and zoos toreopenwith restrictions.
