An announcement on the Cedar Point website on Wednesday was made that set the final days of one of the longer running attractions, the Witches Wheel. The last day open operation will be labor day weekend. The Wheel has been open since 1977 and has served over 24 million rides according to the post. The ride is being removed for future expansion.
But a magic spell of sorts means that any future rides are coming to an end – because Witches’ Wheel is rolling away.
So why? As with most things that we do, it’s in the interest of future expansion. But what does THAT mean?
We’re not ready to say.
