After losing Blake Griffin to what appears to be a season ending knee surgery, the Pistons stay floating in a state of limbo but may have a clear direction finally. With Andre Drummond trade rumors swirling, a full on rebuild seems imminent which has been coming for sometime.
There is a budding young core of talent on this roster but the veteran contracts still handicap the future of the franchise, for now. Sekou Doumbouya has been starting to see real NBA minutes and is getting better every second. Luke Kennard has been sidelined with a knee injury but has shown he also taken the next step in his development.
Changes are coming for the Pistons and times might get tough but there actually may be a light at the end of tunnel.
